Did you know…

The World Wildlife Fund calculated that the UK is accountable for 10.8 billion wet wipes and that the amount of plastic we consume will rise by a fifth within the next decade. Likewise, our cotton pad and micellar water habit isn’t doing our environment any favours.

  1. Wet your mitt with warm water.
  2. Add a drop of vegan cleanser to the mix.
  3. Wash your face using slow, gentle, circular motions, paying particular attention to your “T Zone” (your forehead, nose, and chin). Don’t forget your eyes and lips, either!
  4. Rinse cloth with hand or body wash and a little water to remove all makeup, dirt, and pollutants. Rinse thoroughly and hang it up to dry.
  5. Allow cloth to dry before next use.
  6. Machine wash after a few uses.

For heavy makeup removal

  1. Follow steps 1-4 as described above.
  2. Add another drop of cleanser to your mitt.
  3. Use gentle, circular motions to remove heavy eye makeup, and light, downward strokes on lashes to remove mascara.

Important care/cleaning instructions

A common issue with standard face cloths/washers is that bacteria can breed rapidly in the moist material. Our makeup-remover mitts quick drying which means that bacteria has a limited opportunity to grow. This reduces the likelihood of bacteria being transferred back to the face when the cloth is reused, which could result in pimples, irritation etc.

So… our mitts can be used several times before being machine washed, so long as they’re put somewhere they can dry easily between uses.
